Alzheimer's Association - Care & Conquer Education Series
The Alzheimer's Association, St. Louis Chapter, is pleased to announce the fourth annual Care & Conquer Education Series! Care & Conquer is the region's premier resource for the latest information on research and early detection of Alzheimer's disease. We are proud to host nationally and internationally renowned dementia experts to bring you cutting-edge information and resources. The event focuses on the latest research on early detection and caregiver support.
We are thrilled to host Dr. Ann Steffen as the keynote speaker for this event. This program will have a special focus on the Baby Boom generation. As one of the largest cohorts of aging populations in history, the Baby Boomers present a unique challenge to the future of Alzheimer’s and dementia research and treatment. The number of those living with Alzheimer’s is expected to nearly triple to over 15 million by the year 2050. Following the speaker, there will be a special presentation with a caregiver focus emphasizing relationships among African American families that are affected by Alzheimer’s disease. Lunch will be provided.
