Jennifer’s own journey with reading, writing, and understanding grammar was marked by significant challenges. Learning often felt overwhelming, isolating, and discouraging. As she matured and stepped into mentorship roles, she began to see her younger self reflected in the students she served—young people struggling to express themselves, understand content, and build confidence academically. Seeing those struggles awakened a deep sense of empathy and purpose within her. Motivated by her personal battles and a desire to create the space she once needed, Jennifer founded We Care Community Connection, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth and families through literacy support, life skills, and educational enrichment. to build a nurturing community where individuals feel seen, supported, and equipped to overcome their challenges.
