The Orphan’s Odyssey: Geared for Greatness Gala is My Life In A Bag Foundation’s signature evening of elegance, storytelling, and purpose. Guests will journey through the Victorian, Edwardian, Harlem Renaissance, and Golden Hollywood eras while coming together to support children and youth in foster care.

Proceeds from the gala will help provide mentorship, literacy support, mental health resources, essential needs, and advance our vision of developing tiny-home communities across 36 acres of land in Farmington, Missouri and Illinois combined for young people aging out of foster care—creating pathways to stable housing, independence, opportunity, and a brighter future.
