SSM Health Family Birthplace 5K Run/Walk

In celebration of Black Maternal Health Week – and to help raise awareness of the maternal mortality crisis among Black women in the United States – The Family Birthplace at SSM Health DePaul Hospital - St. Louis is partnering with BKM 4 Life - Foundation for Fitness and Health (BKM 4 Life) to host a 5K event on the hospital campus. Join us as we come together to better understand and support the health and well-being of Black women, who: › Are three times more likely to die from a pregnancy-related cause than white women. › Have a higher maternal mortality rate than any other race in the country.
