7th Annual Spanish Lake Youth and Family Resource Fair

The Spanish Lake Youth and Family Council in partnership with the Hazelwood School District, St. Louis County and the Spanish Lake Community Association, will sponsor its 7th Annual Youth and Family Resource Fair on Saturday May 4th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Twillman Elementary School, 11831 Bellefontaine Road in Spanish Lake.

Families and youth in Spanish Lake and surrounding communities will be able to get information to help them provide a safe and enriching summer for their children and find useful resources to get through the economic downturn.

There will be a range of agencies, organizations, government and faith-based groups that will provide information in areas such as summer activities and educational support services for children; recreation, scholarships and job training opportunities for youth, as well as basic needs information for families such as food and shelter resources, substance abuse prevention, counseling and child safety.

There will be fun activities and free books for children.
