5th Annual Mayors' Shamrock Ball

Looking for a fun event where you can dress up and step out on the town for a worthy cause? Then mark your calendar to attend the 5th Annual Mayors' Shamrock Ball, scheduled for Saturday, March 3, 2012. The event will be held at Garden Viillas North, 4505 Parker Road, in Black Jack, Mo., from 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Tickets are available to the public for $100 each. They can be purchased online at www.ValleyInd.net using either Visa or MasterCard. Only 500 tickets will be sold, so be sure to order yours early. If you snooze, you loose. All proceeds generated through ticket sales and event sponsorships will benefit Valley Industries Sheltered Workshop, which provides dignified meaningful employment for adults with developmental disabilities.

The evening offers plenty of delicious food served by six local restaurants, an open bar co-sponsored by Yacovelli's Restaurant and Crest Bowl with Anheuser Busch-InBev as the beer sponsor, and "live" dance music performed by the Bob Kuban Band.  Dance, eat and be merry all night long!  It's a great way to meet three mayors of these North County communities: Mayor Norman C. McCourt - Black Jack; Mayor Thomas P. Schneider - Florissant; and Mayor Matthew G. Robinson - Hazelwood. You'll also get to network and schmooze with other elected officials and local business leaders who play important roles in making North County a great place to live, work, and play.

Formal green tie attire is encouraged, but not required. Business suits and ties for the gents and evening dresses for the gals are just fine.
