DESCRIPTION:Marygrove is hosting its seventh annual black-tie dinner and auction\, BLOOM\, on Friday\, March 1\, 2013. The evening will feature an elegant dinner in the beautiful Khorassan Ballroom in the historic Chase Park Plaza\, a silent and oral auction and live entertainment by St. Louis' own Dr. Zhivegas.\n\n\n\nThis year we are keeping many of the cherished traditions such as having Marygrove kids participate in the evening. New this year is a presentation that will recognize a group of individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to youth in need who will serve as Marygrove "Ambassadors"\, giving a voice to Marygrove's children within the community.\n\n\n\n\n\nFor over 150 years\, Marygrove has been helping children move beyond an abusive or violent past towards a better\, brighter future. It is the second largest residential treatment program in Missouri\, taking care of 170 young people each day through a variety of programs that include: therapeutic residential treatment\, transitional living/group and foster homes\, crisis care/crisis nursery and services for homeless youth.
