SUMMARY:2016 Top Workplaces Nominations
DESCRIPTION:The Post-Dispatch is accepting nominations for Top Workplaces\, our annual recognition of the best employers in the St. Louis region. \n\n\n\nAnybody can nominate a workplace-customers\, workers\, interns\, suppliers\, even executives and owners.  Eligible employers can be a for-profit business or a nonprofit organization\, privately owned or publicly held.  Even government employers are eligible.  The only requirement is that the organization employs at least 50 people in a 31-county region anchored by St. Louis.\n\n\n\nEmployees of nominated firms that choose to participate will be asked to respond to a confidential 22-question survey conducted by Workplace Dynamics LLC\, our research partner.\n\n\n\nWorkplace Dynamics\, which works with more than 40 newspapers including the Post-Dispatch\, last year surveyed more than 2.5 million employees at 7\,000 organizations.\n\n\n\nThe surveys will be used to rank the top employers.  Winners\, which will be grouped by size of their local workforce\, will be announced in a special section to be published in June.\n\n\n\nBecause the Top Workplaces desigantion can be a valuable tool in recruiting workers\, more and more companies are participating each year.  And organizations that didn't make the cut still are able to gain valuable insights about their operations\, allowing them to make changes that help in retaining and encouraging employees.\n\n\n\nLast year\, 164 organizations agreed to participate\; 100 were recognized.
